Who We Are

Thank you for stopping by our store on the web. We are the daughters of John and Shawn Grubb, residing in North Texas with our wonderful family of four siblings, seven goats, two dogs, five cats and a skittish lamb. We enjoy serving our father and mother while still unmarried, and consider it a privilege to assist them in whatever the Lord has laid upon their hearts. Currently, that is singing and performing for our family bluegrass/gospel band, The Full Quiver .

We are called to be a peculiar people. But sometimes, it is difficult to remain upon the straight and narrow when so many things in this wicked world entice and tempt us so well.

With the realization of so many books that are deceivingly impure and inappropriate, Literary Maidens was created to offer wholesome material that is God-honoring and appropriate for any age group. Travel to distant countries, to bygone eras when men and women honored one another and endorsed Christian values.

We continue to learn many different things as we read other classical literature, and as we write words that create stories and stories that create novels. We particularly enjoy analyzing different characters in many of the classical novels we come across and then write our own that line up with the Lord's Word. Our sincerest prayer is that the Lord will use what meager words we have written to be a blessing to others who may not know Him or who may be struggling in their walk with Him. Either way, may all glory go to the One and Only Who ordained our eyes to see, our ears to hear, and our hands to write.

Charles Dickens and Elizabeth Gaskell are her favorite Victorian authors.

She is still working hard to complete her first full-length novel. John Buchan and Baroness Orczy are her favorite authors.

Faith (17) is in her last year of home school. She began drawing at a young age and began writing stories to go with her art. Her favorite things to draw are historical ladies and gentlemen.
